CJK Solutions currently designs and manufacturers much of the tooling automation for Lydall Automotive.

This is one of many examples of an effective and efficient tooling automation process from simulation through production.

 

CJK Solutions was responsible for identifying the ideal design partner, 3D Solutions, full fabrication and assembly of the arms, and consulting throughout the entire simulation through die build process.

 

The result - a new plant record entering production!

 

The total time required to plug-in the transfer arms, adjust two grippers (the rest did not need any adjustment because of the accuracy of the arm assembly methods ahead of time), enter the supplied transfer timing recipe, and run as shown in the movie = less than one hour! The target stroke rate was achieved immediately, no sensor faults, smooth transfer motion, and making all good parts.
